		<description>Hi Mike, thanks for your comments.  I&#039;ve often thought about the impact parents have on their kids and how much of it is carried on, I guess I never thought about putting myself in that same basket though until you mentioned it..  Realistically, I&#039;m now in that same position - what I say and believe is carried through to my kids - how much of what I say and do is actually correct I wonder?!  I&#039;d hate for my kids to look back later in life and say &quot;how narrow sighted were our parents!&quot;  I hope I can teach my kids what I believe, but also teach them to think and come to their own conclusions in life.</description>

		<description>Funny that the biggest impact on our lives by people who don&#039;t have all the answers seem to be our parents. Not because they are malicious in intent but because what they have told us is a product of their limited knowledge (I don&#039;t mean that as a critisim there are limits to everyones knowledge) their fears, experiences, and beliefs. As a parent I try to be truthful and look at what I am saying. My daughter is young and I have not been faced with too many challenging questions to date but I hope When I am asked for my opinion I will present as just that an opinion based on what I have experienced, read, researched, etc...</description>
