Welcome to Will It Change You? - a blog devoted to personal growth via simple, practical tips and ideas.

My name is Ross: I’m a 31 year old with a background predominantly in health care. I’ve studied and worked in the health care field for the past 10 years, and I’ve had a lot to do with families and individuals at very high and very low points in their lives. I’ve been directly involved with people who have experienced all kinds of tragedies and loss, and write articles on topics such as personal growth, stress, health, depression, anxiety, emotions and more. Currently I live with my family in Queensland, Australia.

What does Will It Change You mean?

One of the questions I started to ask myself when venturing on new ideas (changing house, changing jobs, trying new products.. even what material I read online) is “Will it change me?” In other words, will it be influencing me in a good or bad way, and will that influence be transient… or will it change me?

The same concept applies to the web site - will reading this article on better parenting be purely for entertainment purposes, or will it help you to think about your own life?! This site is really an outlet for me on my path to becoming a better person and improving certain areas of my life. If it gets other people thinking about their lives too, that’s a great bonus! Bringing about change starts with you!

Please be aware that I’m not perfect. I’m not an expert in psychology, self-improvement or coaching, and I don’t have all the answers! I am passionate about life and being positive however, and I have some degree of life experience. I’m ready to approach the world with a ‘will it change me’ attitude - I hope you can do the same and make some real changes in your life.

How you can help
Get involved! Leave a comment if you feel strongly on something - good, bad or ugly, I can take it! I promise to try hard not to get offended if you disagree with me.

You can also drop me a line via email (really, I like to hear feedback), subscribe to my free RSS feed, or if you feel led you can donate any amount, large or small to help support the site.

PS - If you’re wondering why I have spelling issues in my blog posts, it’s all in the eye of the beholder! I’m from Australia, so you may have to get used to seeing the correct spelling of words such as flavour, colour and realise!
